Line Pipe Pre-heating Coils
SPECIALIST LINE PIPE PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY
Radyne designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of Line Pipe Pre-heating coils. These are available in many standard sizes for induction heating of line pipe ranging from 8 inch (200mm) to 80 inch (2m) in diameter.
LINE PIPE INDUCTION PRE-HEATING COIL FEATURES
- Designed for ease of mobility within the pipe mill. Integral wheels fitted to the base of each induction coil enable quick and easy movement from one line to the next
- Lifting eyes fitted to the top of each coil similarly facilitate lifting via crane thus enabling quick and easy positioning onto the pipe coating line
- Designed to provide a highly efficient means of surface drying prior to coating
Radyne applications engineers have experience in the application of bespoke software developed by Inductotherm engineers which can be used to determine the operating performance, the physical dimensions and hence the number of induction heating coils that are required to pre-heat a range of API pipe sizes prior to coating.
