ThermaView 2

Thermatool has introduced ThermaView 2 as a more powerful version of its well established and proven ThermaView, the multi-lingual, intelligent welder diagnostics system that gives mill operators and engineers real-time graphical display of the welder operating conditions.

Designed to work as a powerful preventative maintenance tool, further enhancing operational reliability, ThermaView 2 will also provide historical trending of weld parameters. It will also provide early warning of any adverse welder conditions that could result in a system shutdown, if not quickly corrected. The welder operator also has direct access to a diagnostics screen and at any time can view real-time PLC analogue input and digital input/output values. If there is an application problem, this is highlighted to the operator who can then access a help screen to identify the possible cause and more importantly, obtain a recommendation for corrective action.

The operator can then access a screen showing real-time PLC analogue input and digital input/output values. Once a fault is detected it calls up a help screen that describes the nature of the fault, its possible cause and more importantly, the recommended corrective action.
