ALPHA SHEARS FEATURES

• Capable of operation up to 300m/min on carbon steel, delivering a dimple-free cut

• Particularly suited to shearing stainless steel tube, both austenitic and ferritic types and higher tensile steels

• Four standard machine ranges available – 2”, 3”, 4” and 5”

• Rugged design with precision motion control system to ensure both precision cut accuracy and repeatability

• Tube cuts from 10mm to 127mm (3/8” to 5”) diameter, 0.7mm to 6.4mm (0.03” to 0.25”) wall 

• Alpha Shears are particularly suited to the high speed cutting of short lengths of tube at line speeds up to 300 m/min. i.e. production of sectional tube for furniture such as table legs
